Last Minute Fashion Trends To Grab ASAP For Spring!
Even though climate change has made it feel like spring for the past 3 weeks, it is now officially here! With that being said I’m here to dish the dirt on what looks will be poppin’ this Spring– and most likely out of stock or this upcoming week/week after next.
Slips
Some will give you hell whenever you pop out looking like an edible in one of these. Back ‘n the day slips were not made to be seen, but… we’re not back ‘n the day anymore! Depending on the length, color and embroidery they can be paired with sneakers, over a cute graphic tee, a denim, leather or trench for a day in the park or with heels and a mini handbag for a brunch. Whatever it is, girl you betta go get you a few!

Extravagant Sleeves
Beyoncé tried to throw us a hint at the 2020 Golden Globes that extravagant sleeves are here to stay. Personally I love these for two reasons 1. If you don’t feel like getting dressed up? Pair one of these shirts with fitted jeans and GIRL it just makes it look like you did something extra 2. They’re just naturally eye catching and that’s what Spring is all about.

Split Hem Pants
The boys in high school were on to something sweetie–hem cut pants are now a thing. Bright side is if you can’t afford to cop a pair you can literally slit the hems and call it a day lol.. (if you do actually partake in my shenanigans, make sure you at least know how to thread a needle just incase your slit is too high!)

Sheer, Sheer, Cher
Sheer has been here for awhile and it doesn’t look like it’ll be exiting anytime soon. This is one piece of fabric I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with. Sometimes it just doesn’t give me the #hotgirl feels I want it to give. But apparently this year it’s about layering sheer.. and from the looks I’ve seen it works!

Solid Color Suits
This is a must have for me this Spring. I watch everyone else in awe as they flick it up for the gram in the most beautiful colored suits. I’m a sucker for the whole suit matching or the mix n’ match effect, Either or does it for me.

Pleats
When was the last time you rocked a pleated skirt or dress? The last time I was into the pleated look I was in middle school! I’m always weary when it comes to this trend because I feel like they never make pleated skirts long enough (thank god for skorts!)

Didn’t we all own a poncho or two during grade school? I can completely understand why this would be a Spring necessity because the colors, patterns and cuts are *kisses fingers*

Trench
This is another one of those trends I don’t think will be making a quick exit. I am fan of trench attire because once it’s on, nobody can say anything to you. You’re a professional. Tell em’ speak to your lawyer, PERIOD. Go window shop, try a few on and trust me you’ll end up with one before Spring is over!

Crotchet
Crotchet has been inching it’s way back into the fashion world! Many clothing companies are now selling cute crotchet tops, pants, outwear with such 70’s patchwork.. I can get jiggy with it, but it can be overdone and overwhelming on the eyes. Let’s all take this one with a grain of salt lol.

Suit Trousers
ABSOLUTELY, One of my go to’s when I don’t feel like squeezing into my jeans.. especially during the dreaded monthly cycle. It’s a quick fix to minor fashion problems!
