Her Campus College Fashion Week partnered with Primark brings college people who love fashion as much as I do! Together to experience a runway show that provides you with the latest affordable fashion trends for the season. It was amazing to experience, a candy store for people all around the globe. As soon as I walked in my eyes lit up like it was Christmas. There was so much to get into from the confetti globe, customize t-shirts, Cantu leave in station, bouquet box making and a whole bunch of other great samples!
Let’s get into the space HONEY

The aesthetic and atmosphere were beautifully put together you could definitely tell that everything was thought out to the T. Even though the space was huge it was packed with so many beautiful kind faces and fashionable wardrobes. Every station was set up in a way that there would be no way you’d leave without making a new friend, whether you were both online complaining about your feet hurting, helping gather flowers for each other’s boutique boxes or filling the other person’s bag up with samples. And I was completely here for it.. I loved it!

In today’s society we tend to gravitate towards our phones when we are in an unfamiliar setting/ around unfamiliar people, however that was not the case at CFW. I’ve never been around so many people who throw compliments at each other left and right .. such a welcoming judgement free space. If that is what Her Campus was going for they definitely hit the nail right on the head.
Primark x Hercampus a much needed Collab
I know I know, let’s get to show but hey if I had to eagerly wait so do you!

Once the lights dimmed, everyone knew it was showtime, phones lit up each faces as we all began recording the first model who walked out strutting her stuff rocking a cute beanie, a poppin’ bubble coat and joggers. The show just got better and better as we watched each model dominate the runway with their own personality.
The diversity displayed on the runway from body type to ethnicity would not go unnoticed the inclusion was REAL. When Ebra stepped onto the runway with her bright eyes and styled hijab I couldn’t hold in the smile that became plastered on my face. Something we rarely see because of lack of representation on other runways and something we definitely need to see more of. Others need to take notes!

Neutral position which was the finale of the show was my favorite, it was a mix of professional wear that could be worn for a girls night out or an job interview. LOVE TO SEE IT. But wait all the things worn in the fashion show were extremely affordable because we all know how empty our pockets are during college, you could get the looks and still afford to eat Monday – Sunday. My colleague and I traded glances the entire night as each model showed off yet another affordable look wondering where these items were when we were attending college!!!
The coats were in the finale were to die for, would have definitely loved that in my goodie bag! The models each stepped out ready to slay and serve. Their energy definitely set the tone for the rest of the show as all the ladies came out one last time while the crowd snapped pictures and cheered with amazement. If you missed Hercampus college fashion week put it as a MUST on your next years to do list. You do not want to miss it!
